This week I took a crack at public group photos.  I found them challenging yet fun. I find when you are looking with the picture there is more ambiguity in the subject matter.  The sense that your not just documenting or observing but participating.

These are images taken at the same setting exploring blur as a way to find compositions that work within two  surfaces touching.  When looking closely at a seam or where two or more surfaces touch, I have been able to blend the solid and opposite materials by going beyond what is capable of a camera. The defined line becomes a gradient of colors that form something else entirely.
